licorice international, in the haymarket

if you like any sort of licorice, or unusual tin boxes which might have been

(and even actually were) designed to hold licorice candy, go to this store in the haymarket and get back to your roots.

My wife has started ording the 5 pounders of the strawberry kukabura. Man those things are good.

And the ladies that run the place are a hoot.

I love Licorice International - I always pick up a couple of the varieties of black licorice when I'm in the area. The Irish Toffee is fantastic. And I've even got my mom hooked on it- whenever I go back to visit her, I need to bring her one of the varieties she really likes. I can't remember the name, but it is very small pieces of strong licorice (I don't think there's any sugar in it).
