today, and while supplies last, at ideal grocery.gold kiwi for ten cents apiece. they're ripe; and taste like green-fleshed kiwi, and they're actually still fairly green in hue. and ten cents each. i asked the produce guy about them being so cheap. they got a deal and want to move it out the door. make that work for you!
in the close-out close-dated basket, some sopapilla mix for fifty cents. i like sopapilla but can also imagine using this mix for something else. if i don't use it soon, i'll throw it in the freezer for the future.
